A lover of
Chasing sunsets.
Live music.
Family adventures.
And the stories in between.
Hey, I’m Ross.
The filmmaker behind Chapter Twelve.
I live in the Midlands with my wife Kolaine, our twin girls Myla and Paisley, and our dog Ronnie. When I’m not filming weddings, you’ll usually find me outdoors with the family, enjoying a good coffee, firing up the BBQ, or heading to a live music gig whenever I get the chance.
It started with family.
My love for filmmaking really started when my daughters were born, I found myself constantly documenting life. Not the big milestones necessarily, but the everyday moments that often pass us by without much thought.
Family holidays, walks with the dog, the chaos of family life. The little things that seem ordinary at the time.
Looking back on those films years later, I realised something. The moments we value most aren’t always the ones we expect. They’re often the fleeting interactions, the familiar voices, the people we love simply being themselves. And that’s what eventually drew me towards weddings. Because at their heart, weddings aren’t really about timelines, details, or perfectly styled tables.
They’re about people. They’re about families coming together, old friends reconnecting, nervous excitement before a ceremony, and the atmosphere of a room filled with the people who matter most. Those are the moments I care about capturing.
A calm, documentary approach.
My approach is cinematic and story-led, but always grounded in a documentary mindset. I won’t turn your wedding into a production. I won’t constantly pull you away from the day. And I certainly won’t spend hours recreating moments that already happened naturally.
Instead, I quietly observe, anticipating the moments as they unfold and preserving them in a way that feels honest, relaxed, and true to you.
Of course, there are times when a little guidance helps. Whether it’s finding beautiful light, helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera, or occasionally removing an unwanted Tesco bag from a frame, I’m always there when needed.
But the goal remains the same. To create a film that allows you to be fully present on the day, while preserving everything you’ll want to remember afterwards.
Because years from now, I don’t just want you to watch your wedding film. I want you to feel it, to hear the voices, to remember the atmosphere, to reconnect with the people and moments that made the day what it was.
The films I create are designed to become part of your family history, something that only becomes more valuable with time.

Ross captured our day beautifully and we are blown away with what he has created for us.
We watched our wedding video yesterday and I sobbed. We rewatched it today along with the speeches and ceremony and I cried more.
